As a WordPress Web Developer at Krásnô, you’ll be the technical cornerstone of our web projects—bringing designs to life, ensuring seamless user experiences, and maintaining high-performing sites. You’re not just writing code; you’re crafting solutions that balance aesthetics, speed, security, and usability.
You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and fellow developers to create websites that truly represent our clients, from concept through deployment and ongoing support. Every project is a chance to innovate, problem-solve, and expand your technical skills in a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites
- Creating and editing sites using Elementor
- Implementing responsive UI/UX solutions
- Enhancing performance, SEO, and security of websites
- Providing technical support and fixing issues on existing sites
- Collaborating with designers, marketers, and developers
- Testing and debugging for performance and functionality
- Keeping up with trends in web development and WordPress ecosystem
- Continuously expanding your technical expertise
Requirements
- 3+ years of WordPress development experience
- Proficient with Wordpress builders like Elementor
- Experience creating custom WordPress themes/plugins
- Basic PHP, MySQL, JavaScript
- Strong HTML, CSS skills
- Experience optimizing for speed, SEO, and security
- Experience integrating APIs and external services (CRM, e-commerce, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with ability to logically justify technical decisions
- Mid‑level or senior—this role isn’t for juniors
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify, other e‑commerce
- Familiarity with YoastSEO, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights
- REST API development
- UX/UI design tools (Figma, Sketch)
- Experience with Webflow, Laravel, Tailwind CSS
